Yali Wang serves as the Managing Director and US Head of Real Estate Development at Manulife Investment Management. Yali has 20 years of institutional development and transaction experiences in leadership roles on both GP and LP sides. Her notable achievements include orchestrating $1.5 billion worth of LP transactions and spearheading $1.8 billion in GP developments across diverse real estate sectors such as multifamily, industrial, office, luxury resorts, and hotels.

Yali is first Certified as LEED AP in 2008, boasting a remarkable track record in overseeing ESG projects totaling $3 billion and spanning over 6 million square feet. Her dedication to sustainable practices led to the successful completion of her first LEED GOLD project in 2009.

Driven by meaningful relationships and a collaborative ethos, Yali is recognized as a team player with a unique perspective cultivated during her time in both Boston, USA, and London, UK. Holding dual Master’s degrees in Real Estate Development and Architecture, she previously practiced as a lead architectural designer. Her expertise shined in designing intricate school academic centers, libraries, science research labs, hospitals, and various institutional projects, showcasing her multifaceted talents in the real estate and architectural domains.
