AREPA Charitable

Dear AREPA Friends and Community:

The Impact of the COVID-19 has extended far beyond those who have become infected. With such a staggering number of people quarantined and more becoming sick needs quickly mount including such basic necessities such as food. AREPA takes great pride in playing an active role as Leaders in the communities we serve. AREPA would like to help our community by raising funds in 2020 for two Charitable Organizations:

City Harvest: (Rescuing Food for New York’s Hungry)

Today, City Harvest is New York City’s largest food rescue organization, helping to feed the nearly 1.2 million New Yorkers who are struggling to put meals on their tables. City Harvest will rescue 71 million pounds of food this year and deliver it, free of charge, to hundreds of food pantries, soup kitchens and other community partners across the five boroughs. City Harvest’s programs help food-insecure New Yorkers access nutritious food that fits their needs and desires; increase our partners’ capacity; and strengthen the local food system, building a path to a food-secure future for all New Yorkers.

Welcome to Chinatown:

Help Chinatown Help our Heroes! Welcome to Chinatown launched a GoFundMe to say THANK YOU to the essential workers. 100% of all proceeds will go towards purchasing and delivering meals from Chinatown restaurants to essential workers keeping the greatest city in the world running. Help Chinatown help our heroes!
