REFA has partnered with AREPA to bring you on a journey into the future of housing with "The Future of Housing - Metro Boston and Beyond'!

Join us for a lively panel discussion about the challenges and opportunities for housing development in metro Boston, informed by local and national housing experts. This panel will incorporate perspectives from a panel deeply experienced in housing policy, development, brokerage, planning and capital allocation. How are the needs, challenges and opportunities of metro Boston similar to and different from other US markets? How do, or can, policy and planning objectives intersect with existing zoning restrictions, construction costs and capital market constraints to increase the supply of affordable and for-profit rental and for-sale housing? An exceptionally diverse group of highly regarded experts with material real world experience, moderated by a senior officer of one of the nation’s largest home and multifamily builders, will seek to identify not only the challenges but also effective strategies and practices in use today and potential future improvements necessary to scale up the development needed to increase the supply of high quality housing options in the Commonwealth, and elsewhere, in a challenging economic environment.
