David Qian

David Qian is a real estate investor and developer with over two decades of experience in finance, real estate, and asset management. He is the Founder and Managing Partner of SITUS, a boutique private equity real estate firm focused on the acquisition, conversion, and development of real estate assets.

Mr. Qian began his career in New York City at a Fortune 100 financial institution, where he specialized in deal underwriting, mergers and acquisitions, and investment analysis across venture capital and middle-market private equity transactions. He subsequently focused his career on real estate investment and development, with experience across acquisitions, development, asset management, financial analysis, and strategic capital allocation. Over the course of his career, Mr. Qian has led more than $150 million in real estate acquisitions and development projects through SITUS and its affiliated companies.

Founded in 2012 and originally headquartered in Midtown Manhattan, SITUS focuses primarily on East Coast markets, pursuing opportunities across real estate acquisition, value-add investment, and development.

Mr. Qian serves on the Board of Directors of the Asian Real Estate Professional Association (NYC), Vermont Federal Credit Union, and Pathways Vermont, where he serves as Treasurer. He holds a double major in Economics and Chinese from Hamilton College and has completed advanced coursework in corporate finance at Columbia University.
